This pineapple cream cake recipe is the perfect dessert for Easter! Preparation is not difficult, and the taste will impress even the friendliest of cooks. Here are the ingredients you need, but also how to prepare them!
To prepare the dough:
– 200 grams of sugar
-200 grams of flour
-1 teaspoon baking powder
– 40g finely chopped cashews
– 5 tablespoons of hot water
– 30 grams of butter
– Oil and flour to line the tray
to fill in:
– 500 grams of pineapple compote
– 500 grams of fresh cheese
-75 grams of sugar
-3 tablespoons of powdered milk
– 8 sheets of gelatin
– 500 ml whipped cream
One packet of vanilla sugar
– 50g finely chopped cashews
– 1 cherry
– finely chopped almond
How to prepare:
Beat the eggs well with the sugar and five tablespoons of warm water until the sugar dissolves and a creamy cream is formed. Add the whipped butter, baking powder, almonds and sifted flour, then mix them gently and pour the mixture into a tray lined with baking paper and bake on the appropriate fire for 30 minutes. Remove it and leave it to cool overnight.
Let the gelatin soak, cut the pineapple from the compote into cubes and reserve two slices of pineapple for garnish. Beat the cream with vanilla sugar and let it cool, mix the cottage cheese with sugar and powdered milk. Separate a small amount of cheese and mix it over a bowl of warm water with gelatin. Cover all the cream cheese and add the chopped pineapple, half the whipped cream and the almonds.
We cut the top into two leaves and drink with compote syrup, then fill it with cream cheese. Reserve a third of the cream for garnish and cover the cake with the rest. Garnish with almonds, pineapple, whipped cream and candied cherries. Leave to cool for about 2 hours and then you can serve.
