How is it prepared

In a bowl, put the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, eggs and 30 g of butter at room temperature. Mix the ingredients with a wooden spoon, then add the milk and water, gradually pouring over the crust. The crust should be elastic, then set aside and allow to double in size. Then put on a surface sprinkled with flour, knead until elastic, then put in the refrigerator for an hour. After this time, put it back on a floured counter and roll out a sheet of 50 x 20 cm sheet.

The remaining butter is separated into 3 parts. Using a portion of the butter, distribute it into small pieces on the surface of the dough, leaving the bottom free, as well as 1.5 cm before the edges. Then fold it 3, first fold the bottom without butter, then the top. Close the edges and leave the dough to cool for 10 minutes. The same is done with the second part of the butter and the third part, writes.

Then take the dough out of the refrigerator, spread it out 50 x 30 cm. Cut it in half, then crosswise in equal parts. Each piece is cut diagonally to get two triangles. Brush the triangles with the egg and milkshake mixture, then roll them from the large side to a crescent shape at the end. Paint the face with eggs and milk. We put baking paper on a tray, put the croissants in the oven for 30 minutes to an hour, then bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until they turn golden. Serve hot with coffee, milk and orange juice for a French breakfast
