Marbled Salted Caramel Chocolate – Ingredients
- For cake counter:
- 4 eggs
- 350 grams of sugar
- 250 grams of flour
- 25 grams cocoa
- 200 ml oil
- Sodium bicarbonate
- pinch of salt
- Vanilla extract
- To prepare the caramel sauce:
- 200 grams butter
- 250 grams of sugar
- 150 ml whipped cream
- 50 ml of water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Marbled Chocolate Cake Glazed with Salted Caramel – How to prepare
We begin by preparing the composition for the top of the marble cake.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks and sprinkle a little salt on the egg whites. With the help of a whisk or mixer, we mix until foamy and crystalline. Then add the spoonful of sugar with a spoon, stirring vigorously until the meringue becomes very sticky.
Add the yolks, one at a time, and mix lightly with a spoon, without using a whisk or mixer. Then gradually add oil, vanilla extract and gradually incorporate into the composition 225 grams of flour mixed with baking soda.
Divide the marble cake composition into two equal parts. In the first part we add cocoa powder, and in the other part we add the rest of the flour.

Wallpaper of a round baking dish with a diameter of 25 cm, oiled and sprinkled with a little flour. We begin to put three or four tablespoons of the plain dough in the middle of the baking tray, followed by the largest number of cocoa dough. Repeat the process until the combinations are finished. Shake the baking tray to flatten the marbled cake composition.
Put the cake in the oven for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees, or until the cake passes the test of a toothpick.
Let the marble cake cool in a baking dish, then transfer to a cooling tray or grill.
How to make salted caramel
Put the sugar and water in a saucepan over a medium heat and let the sugar melt, then add the butter and stir constantly until the butter melts and the caramel is homogeneous. Then add the liquid cream and mix again intensively until the sauce thickens and becomes homogeneous. Add salt and turn off the heat.
Let the salted caramel sauce cool for 5-6 minutes, then pour it over the marble cake.

Gently decorate the cake, let it rest for 30-40 minutes, then we can divide it and enjoy it enthusiastically.
