We love cookies! And in order not to be tempted by those in the shops, we try to make as homemade biscuits as possible. Today I present to you a recipe for an oatmeal and chia seed biscuit, which is good for the whole family.

* For children over a year old

  • 150 grams oatmeal
  • 70 ml apple sauce
  • 60 grams flour
  • 50gm chia seeds
  • 2 well ripened bananas
  • 2 tablespoons coconut (melted)
  • baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

How to prepare:

Soak chia seeds in apple sauce for 20 minutes.

In a bowl, mix the oatmeal with the flour and baking powder, then add the finely ground banana, corn syrup and coconut oil over the chia seed mixture and mix well.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. If the composition is too soft, you can add another tablespoon of flour.

Turn the oven to 180 ° C and let it heat up well.

Prepare a tray on which to put baking paper, then form balls by hand, which you flatten and place on the tray.

Put the tray in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

Serve the biscuits hot or cold, and keep for a few days in a special biscuit container.
