Butter and Parmesan pasta was created by Alfredo di Lillio in Rome, out of a great desire to prepare something delicious for his pregnant wife. This recipe is a delight on Italian tables, and everyone loves it.
Parmesan butter pasta is also called fettuccine alfredo, because Alfredo came up with the idea of adding Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta butter. – 400g of dried fettuccine or any type of spaghetti you like
– 300 ml of cooking cream
– 200 gm grated parmesan cheese
– 30 grams of butter
Fresh grated nutmeg, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
How to prepare:
Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package and it is important that it is whole. Mix the cooking cream, nutmeg and butter in a skillet, then add the Parmesan cheese. Drain the pasta, but reserve about 100ml of water once the pasta is done. Pour the pasta over the cream mixture, Parmesan and nutmeg and mix well. If you think the sauce is too thick, gradually add the pasta water. Put freshly ground pepper on top and serve hot.
