Rose cake recipe is a very tasty dish that you can share with the whole family and is just good for the holidays with your loved ones. Here are the ingredients you need to prepare it!

Ingredients

4 eggs

5 tablespoons of sugar

1 cup milk

grated lemon peel

1 sachet of vanilla sugar

200 grams butter

50 grams of fat

400 grams of flour

20 grams fresh yeast

160 gm raisins

2 tablespoons of beaten egg whites

Vanilla powdered sugar

How to prepare

Put the flour in a bowl. Melt the butter and leave to cool. Rub the yeast with a teaspoon of sugar and a little milk, sprinkle with flour and put in a warm place until tender. Separate the yolk from the egg white and rub the yolk with a little salt. When the yeast rises, pour it over the flour, then add the boiled and cooled milk, yolks, vanilla sugar and lemon peel.

Knead for half an hour, during which add a little butter and a little sugar until all the amount indicated in the recipe is put. Knead well, then add 2 tablespoons of beaten egg whites and knead well, then leave to rise. After it rises, put the flour on the board, put the dough, roll out a sheet of paper, grease it with soft, unmelted butter, and sprinkle raisins all over. Roll it and cut it into slices 3 cm thick.

Take a round shape, grease it with butter and arrange the kozonak rolls in it so that the part cut out with the raisins is facing up.

Leave to rise in the pan in a warm place, then put in the oven over low heat. After baking, remove from the oven, pour sugar-sweetened milk on them and return to the oven for 10 minutes. When you take it out of the oven, put the powder with vanilla sugar.
