Every time I cook or bathe, I’m always amazed at how familiar the drum is and how well it can be used for both. All these toothpaste brands are paying crazy money for the latest and greatest whitening toothpaste. Before you brush your teeth at night, save money by sprinkling baking soda on a damp toothbrush and scrubbing in gentle circular motions. However, this is not a long-term process and wears away tooth enamel. You should also avoid mixing baking soda with teeth whitener, as it can be very harsh on your enamel.

But when we use the same formula over and over again, they build up in our hair. Just because we wash our hair doesn’t mean the product is gone. Even shampoos that soften the hair (silicone) and smell good accumulate and become difficult to use after a while. The next time you shampoo your hair, put half a dollar in the palm of your hand and sprinkle some baking soda on top. Lather, rinse, repeat… Just kidding, but lather well and rinse. It will eliminate all these products and you will notice a huge difference!

We didn’t have any medicine for the bites (which doesn’t treat itchy hands), but we remembered that baking soda is soothing. After applying a thick paste of baking soda and water to my hand, the pain subsided and the throbbing stopped after a few minutes. There are many ways to get rid of a bite, but this one comes to mind. This simple household tool saves time.
